I used to imagine that, as I grew into the last quarter of my life, I would spend my days in the studio painting and drawing. Asking what if… while at the same time studying and reading, expanding my understanding of both art history and contemporary art. My practice is about process. I like to consciously use the formal elements of art to go deeper than just painting the surface of what I am observing. My practice is both an inquiry and a puzzle to solve each day I spend painting and drawing.
